LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Alcoholic Beverage Control’s (ABC) new zero-tolerance policy on noise violations has caused some uproar in Louisville’s bar community recently.

The policy, which was put into place last year, has many business owners frustrated because there isn’t much clarity when it comes to what actually constitutes a violation, and the first-time fine is $2,500.

When business owners and members of the Louisville Hospitality Association publicly called for a change to the ordinance earlier this month, WAVE News began to look into how extensive the problem was and how many businesses were being impacted…
