LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Bullitt County couple was planning to spend Labor Day at the lake but stayed home and won $50,000 playing a Kentucky Lottery scratch-off ticket instead.
According to the Kentucky Lottery, the woman who remains anonymous and her husband said they stopped at a Kroger to purchase the scratch-off tickets.
