People can be just one circumstance away from experiencing homelessness, and First Congregational Church in Boulder helped provide a safe place for people in that situation to have a warm Christmas meal.
Boulder Bridge House, a nonprofit organization based in Boulder that provides a variety of programs, resources and services for people experiencing homelessness, partnered with the First Congregational Church to host the third annual Christmas meal.
Colleen Krueger, marketing and communications manager for Bridge House, said the nonprofit has been in Boulder for almost 30 years and provides programming for adults experiencing homelessness. Apart from free meals Monday-Friday, the nonprofit also provides the Ready to Work program, preparing adults to get back into the workforce.
