Shedeur: There’s nothing wrong with Deion’s involvement in my career

Quarterback Shedeur Sanders doesn’t see anything wrong with the involvement of his father, Deion, in his career.

“I ain’t know your parents being involved and wanting the best for you is a problem,” Shedeur told reporters Saturday, including ESPN’s Turron Davenport. “I think as parents, each and every one of ’em want the best for their kids.”

Deion coached Sanders, as well as Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter, at Colorado. He said in March 2024 that he had an idea of where he wanted both players to go in the 2025 draft and that there are “certain cities that ain’t gonna happen.”…
