Guardians hold off Reds 5-2

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – The Guardians bullpen and Jose Ramirez were the stories of the night at Progressive Field.

To stack their rotation for the postseason, the club went with a bullpen day on Wednesday against the Reds. The bullpen chased history for six innings, then saw history made in the 9th.

Andrew Walters, Erik Sabrowski, Cade Smith and Eli Morgan had a combined perfect game going through six innings before Cincinnati finally broke it up.
