A Southwest Airlines pilot who lives in New Hampshire was arrested for DUI at a Georgia airport right before he was supposed to pilot a flight. Authorities say 52-year-old David Allsop of Bedford was taken into police custody Wednesday morning at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. The flight was delayed for 5 hours while Southwest Airlines worked to find another pilot.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Southwest Airlines said, “We’re aware of a situation involving an employee on Flight 3772 this morning from Savannah. The employee has been removed from duty.
