LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Sunday afternoon Lubbock saw a high of 49° keeping most of our viewing area below average (56°) for this time of year.
Strong radiational cooling is expected throughout the night, with clear skies and calm easterly winds as we head into Monday morning. Temperatures in the teens and 20s will be expected.
Southwest winds will return to the area Monday afternoon, with partly cloudy skies throughout the day. High temperatures will not be too cold, but they will remain below average by 4-6°. Upper 40s and low 50s are expected across our region.

These chances are greatest on Wednesday and Thursday, but some areas may see precipitation begin as early as Tuesday and through Friday morning…
