The Texas Tech Lady Raiders return home hoping to end their current five-game losing streak after a 71-58 loss at Iowa State on Tuesday. The BYU Cougars come to town on Saturday for a Big 12 clash between two teams looking for answers against conference opponents.
Texas Tech is just 1-5 against Big 12 opponents this season while the Cougars are 1-4. The two programs are tied head-to-head at 2-2.
The Lady Raiders’ defense broke a 30-year-old streak in Tuesday’s loss to the Cyclones by holding Iowa State to 0-7 from 3-point range. The last time they failed to make a shot from beyond the arc was on Feb. 19, 1995 – a run of 945 straight games with a made 3-pointer.
