Lubbock Taco Bell Locations Debut Chicken Nuggets Today!

Taco Bell is set to spice up its menu with the nationwide launch of Crispy Chicken Nuggets today. These nuggets feature “all-white meat chicken marinated in jalapeño buttermilk, coated with a crunchy blend of breadcrumbs and tortilla chips, delivering a distinctive flavor that stands out in the fast-food arena.”

Texans, particularly those in Houston, might recall these nuggets from earlier this year when Taco Bell selected the city for a test run. The positive feedback from Houstonians played a significant role in the decision to introduce this item nationwide.

To complement the nuggets, Taco Bell is introducing three new dipping sauces:

  • Bell Sauce: A tangy blend of tomatoes, red chiles, and garlic.
  • Jalapeño Honey Mustard: A spicy-sweet fusion of honey mustard and jalapeños.
  • Hidden Valley Fire Ranch Sauce: A collaboration with Hidden Valley, combining their classic ranch with Taco Bell’s Fire Sauce for an extra kick. (This will be incredible I’m betting!)

The nuggs are priced at $3.99 for a five-piece order and $6.99 for ten pieces, with combo options available that include Nacho Fries, nacho cheese sauce, and a large drink.

While some fans have expressed skepticism about Taco Bell venturing into traditional fast-food territory, others are eager to sample the new offering. The introduction of Crispy Chicken Nuggets reflects Taco Bell’s strategy to diversify its menu and appeal to a broader audience, including younger consumers who favor chicken over beef.

By the way, I called the location in Lubbock at 82nd & University to confirm that they would be on sale in the Hub City today and I was told they absolutely would be!…
