Red Raiders Standout Hopes to End Collegiate Career on Top

Calum Scott started his Texas Tech career with high expectations. The highly touted senior has had highs and lows, and he will surely reflect on these as the Red Raiders look to bounce back from a lackluster fall campaign.

Scott, who was revered as one of the most sought-after recruits in Scotland, ranked No. 1 in Europe for boys under 18 and No. 3 overall. High expectations were nothing new for the talented Scott and his freshman campaign certainly did not disappoint.

He played in all twelve events in 2021-22 as a true freshman and compiled six top-20 finishes and one top-10.

Scott’s consistent play continued as a sophomore as he competed in every event for the Red Raider, registering three top-10 finishes and six top-20 finishes in 14 events. His sophomore season was highlighted by a first-round 63 at the Fredrica Cup and a 12th-place finish at the Big 12 Championship…
