LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Thursday morning’s low temperature was 39° in Lubbock and the afternoon high reached 73°. As we head into Friday we are expecting almost an identical forecast.
The front is long gone, and surface high pressure has moved off to the east with southerly winds and clear skies following behind it.
There will be lows in the 30s and 40s areawide tonight, with highs in the 70s again Friday afternoon. South winds will be moderate, around 10 to 15 mph. Lots of sunshine is expected once again, but it will remain quiet overall.
