WIGGINS Miss. (WDAM) – The United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service is advising the public in south Mississippi to exercise caution as smoke from contained wildfires may linger for the next several days.

Firefighters have completely contained five wildfires in the De Soto Ranger District. However, interior fuels will continue to burn and produce smoke in the days ahead.
