Tremaine Jackson wants Prairie View to not just be ‘elite SWAC school’

Prairie View A&M introduced its new head football coach on Tuesday, and Tremaine Jackson made it clear what his ambition is as the new Panther In Charge.

“I made this statement before, and I stand by it; when we come off that hill, there’s going to be trouble,” Jackson said. “We’re going to be prepared at a high level to be competitive.”

Jackson, who led Valdosta State to the NCAA Division II championship game this past season, replaces Bubba McDowell, who was let go following a 17-18 record over three seasons…
