The MPD’s official communication details the assault occurring around 4:08 a.m. in the vicinity of the 5500 block of 9th Street, Northwest, after which the assailant fled from the scene.
Providing a description of the suspect, authorities are searching for a black male with a thin build, standing approximately 6 feet tall. The individual was last noted wearing dark attire, complemented by a ski mask, in an effort to obscure his identity.
