Meriden communications employee charged with computer crimes

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A former Meriden dispatcher in training is facing two felony computer crime charges after allegedly accessing the home address of an acquaintance illegally, according to Meriden officials.

26-year-old Jonathan Miller was due in Meriden court Thursday for an arraignment on the charges.

Assistant Director of Emergency Communications N’Koy Moore said police received a complaint on Aug. 25, alleging the Meriden Emergency Communications Division trainee had illegally accessed the Connecticut On Line Law Enforcement (Collect) to get the address.

Moore said he was employed as a Dispatched Trainee from July 24, 2023 to July 19, 2024 and terminated while on probationary status for reasons “other than this incident.”…
