Oil spill causes temporary road closure in Westfield

WESTFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The area of North Elm Street near the Great River Bridge has since re-opened after police closed the area for a few hours earlier Sunday afternoon.

Two pedestrians injured after hit-and-run in Greenfield, one arrested

According to Sergeant Seth Florek crews responded to that area because of an oil spill around 1:40 p.m. Florek was not able to provide information on what caused the spill, only that it was cleaned up by 4 p.m.
