The Algoma girls’ basketball team got back into the win column on Monday night, beating Mishicot at home 68-43.
The Wolves hit five three-pointers in the first half en route to a 41-18 lead at the break. Nora Krause paced the charge with three of those five three-pointers as she piled up 13 first-half points. The Indians were able to stop Krause in the second half, but her teammates were able to pick up where she left off, as she was one of four players in double figures. Bristol Schmidt led the way with 15 points, with Therese Gerdmann adding 12 and Brooke Mattson contributing 10 points.
