EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – One in four high school students in Wisconsin report they are food insecure and don‘t know when they will get their next meal. That‘s according to the DPI’s latest risk behavior survey.
To combat this, Wisconsin’s State Superintendent, Dr. Jill Underly, is proposing free meals for all students in Wisconsin.
