Wisconsinites face higher costs as egg shortage hits grocery stores, local restaurants

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Wisconsinites can expect to pay more for eggs as the bird flu continues to plague farms across the country.

“What we’re seeing is both supply and demand disruptions in the marketplace,” said Mark Semmann, Wisconsin Grocers Association President and CEO.
