Ohio’s minimum wage to increase in 2025 for tipped and non tipped workers

Hourly employees at Ohio’s minimum wage are getting a small pay bump in the new year. Non tipped workers will increase to at least $10.70 an hour, a .25 cent raise. Tipped workers will increase to at least $5.35 an hour, a .10 cent raise.

“It’s great news for about 300,130 Ohio workers,” Hannah Halbert, Executive Director for Policy Matters Ohio said.

It’s an increase that the state has seen every year since 2006 to keep up with inflation. As workers feel less stress on their wallets, analysts say it can also bring small health and social benefits…
