Who should investigate jail deaths? Not the sheriffs who run the jails, Ohio governor says

Deaths in the custody of county jails should be investigated by an independent agency, not the sheriff who runs the jail, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said.

“I think it would eliminate any, you know, concern about appearance. So, I think that would be a positive thing,” DeWine said.
