One Dead in Tragic Motorhome Blaze in Ceres, Modesto Fire Department Investigates Cause

A tragic incident occurred in Ceres Wednesday morning when a motorhome caught fire resulting in one fatality. KCRA reports that the Modesto Fire Department received an emergency call regarding a structure fire in the 3000 block of Moore Road at around 9:24 a.m.

Arriving firefighters were greeted by intense flames consuming the vehicle, and concerned bystanders quickly mentioned that someone was still missing. Despite the rapid response by firefighters, who extinguished the flames, found and pronounced dead at the scene was one individual. That individual’s identity is yet to be disclosed by officials, as per KCRA.
