LOS ANGELES – The longest winning-streak in a decade for the Pacific volleyball program came to a close Thursday after LMU grabbed a 3-1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-20, 25-20) decision in the West Coast Conference opener at Gersten Pavilion.
The Tigers (10-3, 0-1 WCC) entered the match having won nine in a row, their longest streak since 2014. Though, they played a tough LMU (9-3, 1-0 WCC) squad that is unbeaten at home this season.
Graduate Alexa Edwards, who entered the night ranked No. 7 in the nation in kills and leading the conference with 4.40 per set, smashed a match-high 17 kills. She registered her ninth double-double of the year with 12 digs and also tallied three blocks…
