FIRST ALERT: Flooding, strong winds expected in north Georgia to end the week

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Significant impacts are expected in north Georgia Thursday and Friday due to Tropical Storm Helene.

A few storms have fired up across extreme north Georgia this afternoon. A rogue strong to severe storm cannot be ruled out for areas north of the metro. A spotty shower possible through the evening hours as temperatures only dip to 70° overnight.
