Minute Man National Park Reopens Trails Ahead Of Patriots’ Day Celebrations

CONCORD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Minute Man National Historical Park is putting on the finishing touches for the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution.

After temporary closing the park’s Battle Road Trail last year for refurbishments, it is now officially open again.

“Just been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, and time and effort put into making sure these trails and these buildings stay as nice as they are and people can enjoy them for a long time,” Mark Powell, the Public Affair Specialist with the National Park Service, told WBZ NewsRadio.

Crews added new dirt and gravel were to the trails as well as fixed drainage and erosion problems ahead of Patriot’s Day celebrations in April…
