Edward Hardy Light Edward Hardy Light, 83, of Inwood, WV passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Hospice of the Panhandle. The oldest of nine children, he was born on November 6, 1940 in Martinsburg, to the late Berkeley Hardy Light and Juanita Braithwaite Light.
He owned and operated Ed Light’s Discount from 1971 until 1992.
A loving father, Edward is survived by his sons, Edward Hardy Light Jr., and Anthony Light; daughters, Carolyn Goss (Fred), Bonnie Smigelski (Larry), Penny Light (James Orr), and Chastity Barrett; his beloved cat Cry Baby; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; brother, Larry Light; sisters, Linda Pearrell and Bonnie Underwood; and mother of his children, Linda Light…
