Harold N. Moats, age 85, formerly of Clay Hill, PA, passed from this earth to be with Jesus on Monday, January 6, 2025, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born September 24, 1939, in Waynesboro, PA, he was the son of the late Horace N. and Kathryn V. Dillon Moats of Waynesboro, PA.
Harold was a 1959 graduate of the former Quincy High School. He began his career as a machinist at Landis Tool Company in Waynesboro, PA, then to Mack Truck in Hagerstown, MD, and lastly at Ingersoll-Rand in Shippensburg, PA.
Harold went to work as a truck driver for Clouse, hauling milk; then he drove a school bus for Greencastle-Antrim School District and lastly a water truck for Crider’s water service, retiring in 2021…
