Novak’s to start manufacturing firearms in West Virginia

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WOWK) – A major name in the firearms industry is bringing its company to West Virginia.

Novak’s Inc. is planning to expand into Parkersburg, West Virginia, where the company plans to continue manufacturing its 1911 pistol and work to develop new designs. West Virginia Governor Jim Justice made the announcement on Friday during his final administration briefing as governor.

According to the governor’s office, production in Wood County is set to start this month. Novak’s has also created a business plan designed to increase their production at the facility each year and produce several advance-designed firearms by the end of 2026…
