Cooper Mays about to begin final chapter of his time with the Vols

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The beginning of a season brings a world of opportunities and emotions. The latter is especially true for those embarking on their very last season opener inside Neyland Stadium.

For Cooper Mays, he’s experienced four years of historic moments playing at home in the Orange and White.

“Man I just remember the whole time trying to take it in as much as possible and a big part of that was playing with my brother that was super special, first time running out of the ‘T’ here I was right beside my brother, did the stretch lines and everything,” said Mays, “I wasn’t able to play much that first game but just to be able to experience it and do it with the people I love was super special.”…
