Elite RB, former Oklahoma commit schedules first visit to Tennessee

After decommitting from Oklahoma earlier this month, Jonathan Hatton Jr. is now planning to make his first trip to Tennessee in the coming weeks. The four-star Class of 2026 running back from Steele High School in Cibolo, Texas, confirmed to GoVols247 on Saturday that he’s scheduled to visit the Vols on Jan. 24-25.

The 6-foot-0.5, 205-pound Hatton, who’s a top-50 prospect nationally in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, reopened his recruitment on Dec. 2 after being committed to the Sooners for more than a year. He received a scholarship offer from Tennessee in late March, and he said he has been hearing plenty from first-year Vols running backs coach De’Rail Sims and head coach Josh Heupel…
