KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — Planned Parenthood’s Knoxville clinic has reopened nearly three years after it was destroyed in an arson .
The original clinic, located on N. Cherry Street, was burned down on New Years Eve in 2021. Earlier that year, shots were fired into the building. Mark Thomas Reno was later identified as the suspect in both crimes. He died seven months after the fire.
Now the clinic has a new building in its original location. The clinic reopened its doors to patients on October 14 and has seen 300 patients so far…
