Suspect in custody after stabbing incident in Loudon

LOUDON COUNTY (WATE) — The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office and Loudon Police Department took two males into custody after a stabbing.

On Thursday morning, a viewer shared photos with 6 News of a fire truck and police vehicles near the 6600 block of Highway 11. LCSO confirmed that this was related to a stabbing incident in Loudon.

One person received non-life-threatening puncture wounds and was taken to the hospital by a personal vehicle, said an LPD spokesperson.

Two people were located at the scene, including a suspect who tried to run from the scene, according to a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office. Both were taken into police custody and are being detained while LPD completes their investigation…
