MADISONVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A woman is facing a criminal homicide charge after a man’s body was found inside a Madisonville home, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Thursday morning, deputies responded to a home the 100 block area of Belcher Gap Road in reference to a possible homicide. Inside, they found a man dead, the sheriff’s office said.

The scene was investigated by detectives with MCSO’s Criminal Investigation Division. During their investigation, a woman was taken into custody and charged with criminal homicide.
