Docs: Man repeatedly stalks victim, violates protective order

MCALLEN, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — A McAllen man is facing felony charges for repeatedly stalking a woman after a protective order was placed against him, records indicate.

Israel Cardenas Jr. was arrested and booked into jail Friday on charges of violating a state-mandated order, stalking and installing a tracking device on the victim’s vehicle.

Court documents indicate this is not Cardenas’ first time violating the protective order.
