iPhone crash detection alerts crews to car that hit Marengo home

MARENGO, Ill. (WIFR) – The Marengo Fire and Rescue Districts and police responded to a crash at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday afternoon where a car crashed into a home in the 900 block of Partridge Circle.

The car hit the garage of a one-story duplex causing moderate damage to the structure which was under construction.

Two teenage girls were outside of the car when first responders arrived. One of them said she had a minor hand injury and was evaluated on-site by paramedics. Both of the girls are released.
