It was a classic case of déjà vu in a WIAA Division 7 first-round football playoff matchup between top-seeded St. Joseph and No. 8 Christian Life Friday night at Ameche Field.
Just like two weeks ago in the Lancers’ lopsided victory over the Eagles, St. Joseph overwhelmed its Kenosha city rival with big plays, physicality up front and smothering defense.
Chris Kenesie provided the dynamite, Campbell Kuiper the bulldozer and Dominic Rinaldi the outside weapon as St. Joseph rolled once again, 35-0, enjoying a running clock most of the second half like the first time these two teams met.
