Michelle Henry, a Westmoreland County native who has served both as first deputy to then-Attorney General Josh Shapiro and later as interim attorney general for the first two years of Gov. Shapiro’s administration, will continue in state service once David W. Sunday Jr. takes over as the state’s newly elected attorney general.
Recently Shapiro announced the appointment of Henry to serve as Pennsylvania’s state inspector general, effective Jan. 21, 2025.
“I have complete confidence in her ability to hold bad actors accountable for fraud and misconduct and root out waste and abuse,” the governor said. “I look forward to continuing to work with her to ensure state government is delivering for the good people of Pennsylvania.”…
