Lancaster and Lebanon residents use doors to document the life and legacy of Jimmy Carter

LANCASTER, Pa. — One day after Jimmy Carter was laid to rest groups across the nation continue to honor the late president’s contributions to the community.

In Lancaster County, one Habitat for Humanity ReStore is offering residents a unique way to say farewell to the former president.

Ben Mathus, Director of the Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity ReStore said, “Jimmy Carter was Habitat for Humanity’s most famous volunteer and he symbolically opened a lot of doors.”…
