Oscar’s Cigar & Sports Lounge in Palmyra opened its doors Friday.

Oscar’s Cigar & Sports Lounge is located at 633 W. Main St., Palmyra.

Owners Steve and Amy Zechman combined two spaces in the Cali Center to open the 3,500-square-foot lounge, featuring a walk-in humidor, a main lounge area, a golf simulator, and a VIP membership lounge.

LebTown spoke to the Zechmans in August prior to their opening. Steve Zechman told LebTown that the name is in homage to Oscar Hammerstein — a German immigrant who initially worked in a cigar factory, then climbed the ladder to become a cigar maker. Oscar also happens to be the name of the Zechmans’ family dog that passed away last year at 16…
