CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — A 48-year-old Chesterfield County man is dead a week after a driver hit him in a Midlothian crosswalk.
At about 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, officers with the Chesterfield County Police Department were called to the area of Winterview Parkway and Winterfield Crossing for report of a crash involving a pedestrian .
When they arrived, offices found 48-year-old Dong J. Hwang in a crosswalk on Winterfield Crossing with life-threatening injuries.
Hwang was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A week after the crash, on Saturday, Dec. 14, he died as a result of his injuries…
