RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The City of Richmond has announced that it has named a new Director of Revenue and Deputy Director of Finance.
For the position of Director of Revenue, the city has chosen Jamie Atkinson, who has 15 years of federal experience with government agencies and nonprofits — most recently as the Budget Director of the Austin Transit Partnership.
Atkinson, who attended Christopher Newport University and the College of William and Mary, will be responsible for revenue collections of the city, business tax and personal property assessments and administration of tax relief programs.
