RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — The Richmond-based nonprofit Sports Backers has announced that its founding Executive Director, John Lugbill, will be retiring on June 30, 2025.
According to a release from the organization on Friday, Sept. 20, Lugbill will retire after 31 years of service.
“Our achievements over the past three decades are a testament to the incredible teamwork at Sports Backers,” Lugbill said. “I’m so grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to work with so many amazing people and to make active living a part of our region’s DNA.”…
