ODOT investigating after an uptick in crashes at Dead Man’s Curve

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) – It has been a dangerous winter at Dead Man’s Curve with another accident on Friday morning. There have been so many crashes that Cleveland Police Requested the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) to investigate.

On Tuesday, they shut down the road and sent crews out to inspect the road.

“Our engineers went out and took a look at the roadway. They really didn’t find anything out of the ordinary. There were no moisture problems, no traction problems. Really couldn’t understand why motorist were crashing in that area,” says Brent Kovacs, Public Information Officer with ODOT District 12…
