(WGHP) — Hurricane Milton is moving into the Atlantic Ocean this morning after causing widespread wind and water damage across FL.
It maintained hurricane strength overnight as it crossed the FL peninsula and dumped over a foot of rainfall alone along its path.
Milton is currently a Category 1 Hurricane, producing 85 mph sustained winds and wind gusts up to 105 mph.
It’s currently 10 miles northeast of Cape Canaveral, moving to the northeast at 18 mph.
