Now that news has broken of Buc-ee’s coming to West Memphis , it’s time to plan your first trip — whether that’s down the road when the Arkansas location opens or much sooner at one of the 50 currently open locations.
If you’ve never been to the world record-holding travel center, Buc-ee’s is known for its off-beat Southern charm, cleaner-than-average bathrooms and its massive footprints. Typically, Buc-ee’s convenience stores occupy about 3,000 square feet of space, but many locations are larger than 50,000 square feet. (The record-setting Luling, Texas, store is about 75,000 square feet, while the West Memphis location is set to be 74,000 square feet.)…
