Today, 121 cadets from California Highway Patrol’s Cadet Training Class III-24 completed their traditional 5-mile Graduation Run from the CHP Academy to the California Peace Officers Memorial by the State Capitol. The symbolic run marks the culmination of their rigorous training, with family and friends cheering them on every step of the way.
This Friday, these cadets will receive their official CHP badges during a special graduation ceremony, officially joining the ranks of California’s law enforcement as they begin their careers in public service.
The event, culminating in Friday’s graduation ceremony, will see these cadets officially sworn in and presented with their badges, stepping into their new roles as officers with the California Highway Patrol.
