Heroic woman runs outdoors in her underwear to save tiny dogs during coyote attack

In California, the Department of Fish and Game estimates a population of 250,000 to 750,000 coyotes. These animals (Canis latrans) are very adaptable and can live in most of the state. They roam the deserts as well as residential neighborhoods, and they are able to scale walls six-feet high in search of prey.

In the city of Inglewood, two tiny dogs had been dumped by a heartless owner over two months ago. No one had been able to capture them; the frightened dogs would roam around the entire neighborhood but came back to one area. Perhaps they were waiting for their owner to return? Perhaps they were just too frightened and had been able to cull out their own tiny hiding place?

Earlier in the week, a Good Samaritan gasped in horror as a video on her Ring Camera caught three coyotes attack one of the stray pups. In a selfless act bravery, the woman, in her underwear, ran outside to save the dog and scare away the attackers…
