It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Socorro (Carol) M. Johnson, on January 2, 2025, in Turlock after a brief illness. She was 84 years old.
Socorro was born on February 3, 1940, in Merced, California to Rafael and Esther Torres. She attended Livingston Elementary Schools and graduated from Livingston High School in 1958.
It was at Livingston High School that she and John Johnson met and became high school sweethearts. They were married on November 15th, 1958, and lived a short time in Turlock, then Snelling before settling in Delhi where they raised their six children…
