Hartford gun, cracker trafficker sentenced to 12 years in prison

HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Hartford man who trafficked cocaine and guns — including one that was used in a Middletown homicide — will spend 12 years in prison, according to an announcement Friday from Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut.

Jacquerie Labronze Gibson, 44, has been sentenced to 144 months in prison, which will be followed by three years of supervised release.

Law enforcement uncovered in August 2021 that Gibson was trafficking guns that had been bought in North Carolina. He was also trafficking cocaine and converting cocaine into crack cocaine in his apartment…
