Police: Felon arrested in New Haven after firing shotgun

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A convicted felon walked toward Carlisle Street and fired a shotgun twice earlier this month in New Haven, according to police.

Ryan Russow, 39, was found with the loaded shotgun in his vehicle, according to police. He has been charged with criminal possession of a firearm and weapon in a motor vehicle, and is being held on a $200,000 bond. More charges are pending, according to police.

He fired the shots at about 9 p.m. on Dec. 10, while walking south on Liberty Street on Carlisle Street, according to police. Video captured him walking and the sound of two shots…
